The Museum of Richmond is raising £1,350 to install a memorial bench on Richmond Green for Valerie Boyes, Historian and Teacher and Founding member of the Museum of Richmond

Valerie was a great friend and champion of the Museum of Richmond. Her support, energy and expertise will be greatly missed. To celebrate the life and work of this remarkable woman, the Trustees of the Museum of Richmond are fundraising for a memorial bench, which will be installed on Richmond Green, in the heart of the community Valerie loved and for which she did so much for. If they exceed their fundraising target, any surplus will be used to support the workshops for schools and families at the Museum, which Valerie, as a historian and teacher, was greatly passionate about.
